About Us
The International Society of Ancient Wisdom (ISAW) is committed to advancing religion and promoting cultural, social, educational, and traditional activities that unite the community. As a registered charity under the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and in accordance with the Income Tax Act of Canada, ISAW aims to foster spiritual growth and understanding through the exploration of ancient wisdom traditions.

Our History
-
The International Society of Ancient Wisdom (ISAW) began as a collective effort by a group of like-minded individuals who arrived in Canada in 2013. Although the society was not formally established at that time, we were united by a shared commitment to community service. Each month, we individually practiced the "Feed the Hunger" program, providing meals to those in need.
-
In 2023, we officially registered as a non-profit and charitable society, marking a significant milestone in our journey. Our inaugural event was the grand celebration of Vallalar's 200th birthday. This event was a resounding success, featuring a Thiruvarutpa reciting competition with the participation of 60 enthusiastic children. This achievement established ISAW as a prominent organization within the community.
-
Building on this success, we celebrated the Margazhi month with daily Thiruvarutpa song recitals, engaging many active Tamil-speaking children. The positive response and community involvement from these events propelled us to further our mission.
-
With this huge success, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Thanjavur Tamil University through Samarasa Sutha Sanmarkka Sathiya Aaivirukkai. Following this, we signed another MoU with Siddha-Vetha Multiversity (SVM) to empower youth through the Youth Empowerment Indigenous Knowledge & Career Accelerator Program (YEIKCA).
-
ISAW envisions a world transformed through the practice of non-violence, virtue, self-discipline, love, and compassion. Our mission is to share the ancient wisdom of great sages, fostering a harmonious and enlightened society for future generations.
